Skunk Removal

Skunks not only smell bad but they can cause major damage to a well groomed lawn. If you see your grass was torn up in the middle of the night, it was probably due to skunks. Skunks most often hide under decks and sheds or may dig a burrow. If there is not a food source around and you smell a skunk, it will probably go away on its own. Pet food left outside or compost piles will attract skunks. Never mix meat scrapes in your compost bin as it will attract skunks, rats, raccoons and opossums.

In most cases it is difficult to live trap and remove skunks from your property.  If skunks are going under a deck, shed or low-laying structure we recommend our Underground Fencing Service to prevent any future animals from burrowing and living under these areas.
